These terms cover your use of Narrato: the website, the console, the SDK, the API and the assistant (together, “the service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Narrato for an organization, you’re agreeing for that organization, and you confirm you’re allowed to. You must be at least 16 and able to enter a binding contract.
The preview
Narrato is in an invite-only preview. Features, limits and plans may change, and we may end the preview or change how the service works. We’ll give notice of changes that affect you where we reasonably can. There is no uptime or support commitment (no SLA) during the preview.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in credentials safe. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
- Team admins control who can access the team’s projects.
- Write keys are meant to be public: they ship in your app’s code and can only send events. Rotate a key from the console if it’s being misused.
Your data
- You own your data: your account content and the events you send.
- You give us permission to store, process and transmit it only as needed to run, secure and support the service for you. This includes sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy, such as our AI provider when you use the assistant.
- You’re responsible for your end users’ data. That means telling your users about the analytics you run, getting consent where your law requires it, and having the right to send us what you send. Don’t send passwords, payment card data, government identifiers, health information or other sensitive data. The Privacy & PII guide describes what to avoid.
- Deletion: you can delete projects and your account at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy. For a data processing agreement, contact us.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Narrato to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- collect data from people without the notice or consent the law requires;
- try to access other customers’ data, probe or break our security, or get around limits, quotas or rate limits;
- send malware, overload the service, or interfere with other customers;
- resell the service, or use it to build a competing product.
We may suspend access that puts the service, other customers or the law at risk. Where reasonable, we’ll tell you first.
The assistant
The assistant writes and runs queries on your data and summarizes what it finds. Its answers can be wrong. Answers show the queries they ran, so check what matters before you rely on it. You’re responsible for decisions you make based on its output.
Plans, limits and payment
- During the preview, Narrato is free.
- Each plan has limits per workspace (your personal account or a team) on monthly events, projects, team members and assistant messages, listed in Limits & billing. On the Free plan, events beyond 120% of the monthly quota are rejected until the next month.
- When paid plans launch, prices will be shown before you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe, and subscriptions renew until cancelled. If a paid plan ends, your workspace returns to the Free plan’s limits.
Ending your use
You can stop using Narrato and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service. Where we discontinue it, we’ll give reasonable notice so you can get what you need out of it: query your data in the console, or ask us. After an account is deleted, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
Our service and your feedback
We own the service: the software, the website and the Narrato name. These terms don’t transfer any of it to you. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analytics or assistant output will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data;
- our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with its effective date, and list the change below. If you keep using Narrato after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
- October 10, 2026: first version.
General
These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If a part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. You can’t transfer your rights under them without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a merger or sale of the service.
