Teams & roles
Narrato starts personal: your account, your projects, no organization anywhere. Teams appear exactly when you need one, and they’re the paid tier’s home.
Creating a team
Section titled “Creating a team”On any personal project’s page, Create a team does three things at once:
- Creates the team (you become its admin).
- Moves the project (data, dashboards, reports, context) into the team.
- Switches your console to the team workspace.
The move is one-way: the project belongs to the team afterwards. From there, invite teammates from the project’s Members card; everyone in the team sees the team’s projects, dashboards, reports and data dictionary. Assistant chats stay private: only the person who started a chat can see or continue it.
Workspaces
Section titled “Workspaces”The switcher in the console sidebar flips between your personal workspace and any teams you belong to. Each workspace has its own projects, usage metering, and billing. A plan upgrade applies to the team you bought it for, not to your personal projects.
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Everything: manage members and invitations, projects and keys, billing. |
| Member | Use everything: chat, dashboards, reports, project data. Billing and member management are admin-only. |
Billing attaches to teams
Section titled “Billing attaches to teams”The Free plan is personal and solo. Upgrading happens on a team: create one from your project, then upgrade it from the Billing page. Details in Limits & billing.
